ForgeCell
Emissions Control System
for Data Centers
Compact footprint. California manufactured.
Engineered around your power infrastructure.
Data center emissions control
Plan for clean air.
Make room for growth.
ForgeCell is Ship & Shore Environmental’s compact, modular emissions control system for data centers. Manufactured in California, it brings a space-conscious approach to project-specific emissions-control requirements.
Backup generation and on-site power belong in the emissions conversation from the beginning. ForgeCell starts with your equipment, exhaust conditions, available space and operating requirements, so the system can be evaluated as part of the facility’s infrastructure.
For developers, enterprise operators, colocation teams and engineering partners, the next step is an application review with Ship & Shore. Confirm the treatment approach, installation requirements and performance criteria before specifying equipment.

An application-led system
The right control strategy
starts with the source.
A data center emissions control system must match the power equipment it serves. Fuel, exhaust temperature, flow, operating load and the pollutants to be addressed all influence the design.
Understand your exhaust.
Review the generator or power-equipment specifications, fuel, emissions data and operating modes. Establish what must be treated during the conditions relevant to your project.
Match the treatment.
Evaluate the appropriate controls and equipment arrangement against the required emissions targets. Define the scope of the ForgeCell configuration in the project proposal.
Design for the full installation.
Coordinate the layout, exhaust routing, allowable backpressure, utilities, controls interfaces and maintenance access with the facility team and equipment suppliers.
Different pollutants need different controls.
Data center exhaust treatment can involve selective catalytic reduction (SCR) for nitrogen oxides, oxidation catalysts for carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, and particulate filtration for diesel exhaust. These are technology options to evaluate, not a statement that every ForgeCell system includes every component.
Ship & Shore’s engineers establish the equipment combination and operating requirements for the application. Request a written system scope and performance criteria for your project.
Equipment selection does not itself establish regulatory compliance. Final requirements depend on the source, operating conditions and applicable permit. No universal removal efficiency, certification or permit approval is implied.

Small footprint. Full-project thinking.
Compact by design.
Specified for your site.
Modular means a compact equipment format. ForgeCell is intended for projects where installation space matters, with the final dimensions established for the selected configuration.
Plan for more than the equipment enclosure. Exhaust connections, utilities, support structures, service clearances and access routes also belong in the layout.

Your questions, answered.
What is ForgeCell?
ForgeCell is Ship & Shore Environmental’s commercially available, compact modular emissions control system for data centers. It is manufactured in California. System configuration, application suitability and performance criteria are established through a project-specific engineering review.
How does ForgeCell fit into a data center project?
ForgeCell brings emissions-control planning into the equipment and site-design conversation. Share your backup-generator or on-site power requirements so Ship & Shore can evaluate the exhaust source, treatment scope and integration needs.
Which emissions-control technologies are included?
The treatment scope depends on the source and the pollutants to be addressed. SCR, oxidation catalysts and particulate filtration are examples of technologies that may be evaluated for data center exhaust. Confirm the components included in your ForgeCell configuration with Ship & Shore; no single package or universal removal rate is specified here.
What does modular mean, and how much space is needed?
Modular describes ForgeCell’s compact equipment format. Request dimensions for your application and allow for exhaust connections, utilities, support structures and maintenance access. It does not mean that every site uses the same dimensions or that capacity expands simply by adding units.
Is ForgeCell available now, and where is it manufactured?
ForgeCell is commercially available and manufactured in California. Contact Ship & Shore for application review, configuration details and current project lead time.
Can ForgeCell be evaluated for an existing facility?
Yes. Bring the existing equipment specifications, emissions data and site layout to an application review. Retrofit suitability depends on the exhaust conditions, available space, allowable backpressure, controls interfaces and operating requirements.
How do I request ForgeCell specifications?
Use the inquiry form on this page or call 562-997-0233. Share your site location, power-equipment details, emissions requirements and schedule to help our team frame a project-specific response.
