S&S today is a leader in end-to-end pollution abatement services for U.S. manufacturers.  The firm’s impressive growth over the last decade and a half can be credited to high demand for its innovative RTO technologies that help major manufacturers meet Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) abatement challenges by providing customized energy-efficient air pollution abatement systems, resulting in improved operational efficiency and tailored “green” solutions.

“Many plastics manufactures installed Ship & Shore’s energy recovery system after the State’s greenhouse gas & energy law went into effect in 2012,” said Laurie Hansen Sheets, executive director of Sacramento’s Western Plastic Association. (Oskouian serves on the Board of the Association & as a Committee Member for the South Coast Air Quality District). The latest set of regulatory changes are not, however, the first to boost S&SE’s bottom line. “California’s Global Warming Solutions Act of 2012, which required sharp cuts to greenhouse gas emission through renewable energy device & other consumption reduction practices, helped feed a 10 to 15 percent boost in business over the next three years,” Said Anoosheh Oskouian, Co-owner & President of Ship & Shore.
