Ship & Shore Environmental, Inc. as Exclusive Pollution Control Equipment Supplier to Major Pharmaceutical Company
With expanded technology implementation, company grows presence in new sector |
Long Beach, CA, March 27, 2019 – Ship & Shore Environmental, Inc., a leading U.S. pollution abatement firm, announced today that it has been engaged by a major multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer with headquarters in India to serve as the exclusive pollution abatement equipment supplier for their soon to open facility in North Carolina.
As the exclusive supplier, Ship & Shore Environmental has signed a multi-million-dollar deal to custom engineer, design, fabricate, and install a pollution control system to destroy emissions generated from the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. The system includes a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) and scrubber technology.
Anu Vij, Ship & Shore Environmental’s COO, who is working very closely with the engineering team, stated, “Our advanced RTO technology reduces emissions in a safe and controlled environment while increasing operational efficiency, decreasing utility costs, and minimizing environmental impact. Being able to provide unparalleled expertise to a pharmaceutical giant has opened a door to other companies in this sector, allowing Ship & Shore to further strengthen our process knowledge for the industry.”
In the pharmaceutical industry, various processes are involved in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. There are laws in the United States and Europe that require prospective Environmental Risk Assessments (ERA) as part of the drug registration process. Ship & Shore’s process knowledge is a critical value added.
“The increasingly complex and stringent environmental regulations for industry in the U.S. have influenced pharmaceutical companies with headquarters in China, India, and other markets. Pharmaceutical manufacturers have a responsibility to foster environmental sustainability and reduce pollution at the source, throughout their supply chains. This is where we step in. We help our pharmaceutical customers navigate challenges they are facing and advise on efficient and cost-effective pollution abatement solutions,” said Anoosheh Oskouian, CEO of Ship & Shore Environmental, Inc.
Ship & Shore’s most recent North Carolina project is expected to be fully operational and destroying emissions by late summer 2019. For more information about Ship & Shore’s Pollution Abatement Solutions for the Pharmaceutical industry, consult sales@shipandshore.com
