Ship & Shore Environmental proudly announces the successful delivery and commissioning of a 23,000 SCFM Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) in Sidney, Ohio. This state-of-the-art RTO is specifically engineered and designed to treat emissions from a new metal coating and painting application. The process involves primer coating, rubber coating (AEM, NBR, FKM), and adhesive coating, which are essential for producing gaskets and brake shims. The RTO effectively abates volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) from the coating processes with a planned operation of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The RTO was delivered and successfully installed in May 2024, marking a significant achievement for Ship & Shore and our client. The installation ensures compliance with stringent environmental regulations and improves air quality by effectively reducing VOC and HAP emissions. This project underscores our capability to deliver custom-engineered solutions that meet the specific needs of various industrial applications.
