S&SE recently completed a number of Dip Spin coating emissions capture and abatement projects for the Fastener Coating Industry. Many coating operations use both solvent-based and water-based products (water-based coatings may include small percentages of solvent content) to add protective finishes to fastener products.
Ship & Shore RTOs (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers) are frequently used to treat VOCs from fastener production processes such as oven exhaust emissions and coater booth exhaust emissions.
See the below brochure from Michigan Metal Coatings Corporation which features a 20,000 scfm RTO designed and fabricated by Ship & Shore Environmental, Inc.
