Ship & Shore Environmental is a global corporation specialized in the engineering, design, fabrication, and maintenance of air pollution abatement equipment and overall clean air solutions. Marketing Coordinator will work closely with and report directly to the President & CEO of the company. The position entails learning the engineering and technical side while also keeping a creative and strategic marketing mind.
In this role, you will be in charge of content creation, optimizing our marketing strategies, as well as managing all the teams and channels. To ensure success, you will need extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify new business leads. Writing – and writing well – must be a passion of yours. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives and activities
- Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify marketing opportunities
- Create marketing campaigns and evaluate the impact/results in achieving company objectives
- Lead the execution of marketing campaigns and programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with all channels of marketing and leveraging the right internal processes
- Support, coordinate, and manage all teams including PR Team, Digital Marketing Team, and internal Marketing Team
- Create, maintain, and strengthen the company’s overall brand through all avenues
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Pursues lead generation tactics and oversees implementation
- Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management
- Forecasts and analyzes sales trends, marketing strategies, and team performance; makes recommendations based on analysis
- Develops and distributes marketing collateral and materials related to sales, PR, and marketing
- Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
Social Media Marketing
- Finding relevant industry articles to post for our daily social media blogs
- Keep charge of maintaining a back log of daily posts for all social media channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Maintain company image on all social media channels
Content Creation
- In charge of content creation in terms of case studies, technical blurbs, website pages, social media posts, press releases, customer notes, etc.
- Drafting and writing announcements, response letters, and memos on behalf of top management and the overall company
- Creating Company Newsletters (Monthly), Email Blasts, Customer Correspondence Emails, Holiday E-Blasts, and Announcements using email automation platform
Digital Marketing
- Ensures that company website is continuously up-to-date with latest updates, news, and technical content
- Aligns digital marketing efforts with other sales and marketing efforts
- Track website visitors and compile them onto a report for analysis and action items
Public Relations
- Oversee PR Team to ensure that all efforts are aligned with internal team
- Seek out opportunities for Awards, Recognitions,
- Coverage, and Features and reviews all necessary applications or articles as needed
- Support management and key team with Media, News, TV, or Podcast coverage
- Strategically selects topics for monthly press releases for the PR team to pitch to media
Trade Shows & Events
- Identify relevant industry trade shows and register the most appropriate sales team member
- Gather all marketing collateral needed for trade show booth exhibitions: trade show banners, company brochures, presentations, case studies, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or related (essential)
- Minimum two years of experience in content management, creative writing, marketing concepts, and overall marketing

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Troubleshooting, repair and commissioning of air pollution abatement systems.
- Analyze control requirements and isolate control components to verify proper operation.
- Full comprehension of electrical control & instrumentation diagrams, and control logic.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY
- Travel to customer facilities located in the United States with some travel to Canada and other countries as needed to troubleshoot, repair, and/or commission air pollution abatement equipment such as: regenerative thermal oxidizers, catalytic oxidizers, concentrator systems, flares, burners, ovens, heat exchangers, waste heat boilers, economizers and other equipment.
- Full comprehension of: blue prints, control circuits, logic diagrams, electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, instrument specifications, data sheets, calculations, PLC, HMI & VFD controls.
- Programming of PLC, HMI and VFD’s.
- Work closely with engineering department, manufacturing, sub-contractors, customers and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of high quality equipment.
- Advise appropriate persons of concerns and/or discrepancies after collecting and analyzing data.
- Provide technical support and training to customers relating to proper operation and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain courteous professional and ethical relationship with customers, government agencies, subcontractors, and co-workers.
- Follow directions and safety procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- AA or BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or comparable experience)
- PC proficiency with AutoCAD 2006 and Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK.
- Able to troubleshoot electrical instrumentation and control equipment and determine source of malfunction, perform repair and start-up equipment.
- Proficiency with Allen-Bradley, Siemens and/or Mitsubishi PLC & HMI Programming.
- 5 years recent experience troubleshooting and repair of gas fired burners for industrial equipment.
- Must be able to communicate technical information in writing, by telephone, and in person.
- Familiarity with Thermal Oxidizers, V.O.C. Abatement Equipment, Ovens, Burners, Flares, is a plus
